Clean, quiet, and a beautiful resting place for the departed. I didn't really care about veteran cemeteries until my Uncle passed away. When I saw the amount of veterans who have been laid to rest here, I grew an understanding on how important it is to keep the cemetary clean and alive to show respect for those who fought so hard to not only protect the freedom of the world, but to secure the joyful and comfortable life we can take for granted.
The Santa Fe National Cemetery pays respect to the veterans through it's clean, lush green grass and upkeep.
I say thank you to all of the friendly staff to make me know that my Uncle is in caring hands.Added April 28, 2017 by Hank 03 Lopez - ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
I brought my friend Jim to Santa Fe from Kentucky to retire 7 years ago. He chose the area for its culture, natural beauty and pristine climate. He finally passed away and this is his chosen final resting place. It has beautiful views and is well maintained.

I am a 5th Generation from Santa Fe. All of my vast relatives are buried here on both sides military and civilian. After serving 20 yrs in the United States Air Force, I too will be laid to rest here in this beautiful cemetery. Along with my wife.

So dismayed to see the condition of my mother's grave. It would have killed my 94 year old father if he had seen it. He says' "The back should look as nice as the front of the cemetery." Horribly saddened by what I saw. It's obvious in these two photos.

They still stand at attention. Others have laid down their arms. The Santa Fe National Cemetery is an honor. There is a lot to be said about the men and women who gave their lives in the service of the United States to protect you and to protect me. The Santa Fe National Cemetery is a reminder of the many Americans who invested their lives in their country
